Web To Print is HOT! Print Solutions Magazine has dedicated two of its 2006 publications solely to Web to Print and Variable Digital Printing. The reason is clear; this rapidly expanding marketplace is here to stay. e-Quantum entered the arena of Variable Digital Printing in 2000, with Quantum Net's Standard Template Module. And in 2005, we released "Q-Design" our next generation template program designed specifically for the emerging VDP marketplace.
Nowadays, it seems every manufacturer has an online ordering platform - and, suppliers for VDP are no different. But, Q-Design is unique. It is fully integrated with e-Quantum and an integral part of YOUR technology, not your vendor's. That means you're in complete control of the orders and artwork you create. You control the order, the vendor, the design, the changes, and the artwork. All transactions reside in YOUR computer, not your vendor's. And as always, e-Quantum is ready to help you if you need us.
If you haven't seen Q-Design or how it can help you grow your company with Variable Digital Printing, give us a call! beth@e-quantum.com, Beth Pohll 800.328.7804 x 217.

As your technology partner, developing valuable new features and enhancements for your e-Quantum software is a top priority for us. We are pleased to announce that our latest CD release of e-Quantum, is just completing its final beta testing phase and will soon be released to all clients. There are many, exciting new features in this release, and we'd like to share a few of them with you.
Gift Certificates
You will now have the ability to sell gift certificates, and users will be able to redeem them for online purchases. Perhaps, your client would like to give out certificates as bonus or Christmas gifts and allow employees to redeem them on their company store. e-Quantum will now allow you to sell and redeem them online - as well as track the entire accounting process!
Batching Quantum Net Orders
We know 'greater efficiency' spells profitability for your company. And that is what the new batching options will provide you. Now, when generating Quantum Net orders, you will be able to selectively combine separate orders for the same item into a single order (think multiple lots of business cards). Additionally, you will be able to generate BATCHES of orders based on item ID or order type. Even the artwork can be batched, so your vendor receives only one PDF file. Now, that's efficiency!
Reversing Journal Entry
In General Ledger, we have added the ability to select and reverse an existing GL journal entry. Locate the transaction and select the option to create the reversing entry. Once this has been generated, go to Edit/Post Journal entries to modify and post this transaction.
Bill Notes
In OE Configuration > Invoices, we have added the option to "Force Display of Bill Notes - Yes or No" If you select Yes when you invoice a PO or Release with Bill Notes a box will pop up notifying you that Bill Notes exist. The Billing Notes alerts your accounting department to be aware of vital information before invoicing your customer.

e-Quantum is pleased to announce that we have completed punchouts for many client e-commerce purchasing systems such as Oracle, Ariba, Ketera, E-Biz and PurchasingNet. Many Fortune 500 companies operate central procurement and payables systems such as these. The ability to integrate your Quantum Net online ordering system with theirs is a requirement for doing business with these companies. e-Quantum can tailor these punchouts to your client's specific needs. Now, going after "Big Business" is even easier with e-Quantum e-commerce.

Congratulations the 24 e-Quantum client distributors name in the BFL&S's list of Top 100 Distributors. The publication cited in its November edition gross sales of $2.91 billion as the combined total for the Top 100 Distributors. According the article, printed forms still leads the industry as the category achieving the highest sales, though its market share decreased by 2 percent in the past year. A much deserved pat on the back for all those selected. You can read the article in full at www.bfls.com
