e-Quantum is pleased to welcome two new professionals to our software support staff. We believe they will both be great assets in expanding technical support to our client base.

Dana Burnett has most recently been a trainer for Bally Gaming & Systems and a technical trainer for GameTech International, Inc. Prior to that she served a twenty-year career in the United States Army.

Makita McDonald is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. in Cognitive Science and a minor in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering. Most recently, she has been working in the San Francisco Bay area as a technical writer and software trainer.

Our December Q-Report noted that in 2004 Quantum Net users purchased 504,607 items from distributors via e-Quantum Net. However, we neglected to mention that since we began keeping statistics in 2002, clients of Quantum e-commerce distributors have ordered more than ONE MILLION ITEMS using Quantum Net. Since 50% of those items were ordered in the past year, the exponential rise in e-commerce activity is obvious to all. Our e-Quantum Q-Send module now contains Shipping Interfaces for UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager and DHL. Purchase Order and Warehouse Release Shipping Addresses can be exported into the various shipping systems. Then e-Quantum's PO number or Release number is entered into the Reference field while creating the shipment in the carrier’s system. Once the shipment is complete, Tracking Numbers and Shipping Charges are imported back into e-Quantum reducing errors, increasing efficiency and saving time. Quantum Net's Order Tracking Report is updated with tracking information allowing your clients to track their own packages online. In e-Quantum’s Order History program your CSR can also track your customer’s shipments.
