Chicago Client Conference

Our Chicago client conference at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare was characterized by the great enthusiasm of all attendees. The Quantum Net e-commerce panel discussion was particularly energized as clients related their various e-commerce success stories. Topics ranged from the major benefits of using e-commerce to various strategies for marketing e-commerce to end-users. Quantum Kudos to panelists Robb Dunn, Informs, Inc., Pamela Gates, Metcom, Inc., Diana Gragson, Printing Management Associates, and Bob Penn, Prime Business Solutions for a successful program.

A unique business opportunity was presented by Irv Michlin, President of IMCOM, who introduced newly created print formats that have many business applications including promotional products, direct mail, and the PhotoMagiX software which allows for the easy design of each of these products. Irv also presented a new ID Card format that is included in the software. The product, BestCard, has many advantages over products that are available today and promises to be the "best" card solution on the market. Other conference highlights were the introduction of our new Quantum PDA Order System that lets you carry the power of Quantum in the palm of your hand; our new Q-STORE business to consumer retail e-commerce module with on-line credit card processing; and, a preview of Q-Design, the next generation of Quantum templates that will incorporate 1-2-1 marketing capability with mail merge features. We also discussed the ease of adding the USSCo (United Stationers) office products catalog to Quantum Net. All orders are fully electronic and require little, if any, handling by the distributor.

2004 Print Solutions Expo

The DMIA 2004 Print Solutions Expo in Chicago was perhaps the best EXPO yet for team Quantum. The over 1,500 attendees generated new sales and a great many sales leads. We also welcomed this great opportunity to network with current clients. As a tribute to our staff, Quantum was selected as “The Most Helpful Booth.” Several Quantum clients were also winners. Attendees from EBCO won tickets to the World Series, as did our conference technology speaker, Irv Michlin. The biggest winner was the Quantum client Docu-Forms, Davenport, Iowa, who won the choice of a new Lexus or $25,000.00! We bet they’re glad they attended the Expo! Next year the 2005 Print Solutions Expo will be held on October 18-20, 2005 in Orlando, FL.
