The June 2005 e-Quantum Lake Tahoe Client Conference broke all records. Two hundred and thirty-eight persons, including e-Quantum staff and vendors/speakers, attended the 3-day event at the beautiful Harrah’s Tahoe Resort. Attendees could select from 24 hi-tech and educational sessions in two tracks, in addition to optional recreational activities including golf at the Edgewood Celebrity Tournament course, a tour of the Gold Rush Days to historic Virginia City and a dinner cruise to Emerald Bay aboard the M.S. Dixie stern wheeler. Below is a sampling of client reactions to the conference.

NEW e-QUANTUM TECHNOLOGY ENHANCEMENTS
e-Quantum also announced numerous new technology enhancements at the Tahoe Conference. Among them were the following:

e-Quantum and national manufacturer Quality Park (PrintXcel) presented their revolutionary new XCBL electronic order standard for the Independent Print Industry. Distributor PO’s and vendor acknowledgements, shipping notices and invoices may now be transmitted electronically. Quality Park is also offering rebate incentives to distributors who purchase this new e-Quantum module.

E-Quantum introduced a SAGE Promotional Products Software interface that allows orders entered into the SAGE promotional products search engine to automatically be converted into PO’s in e-Quantum.

E-Quantum introduced an interface with Jump Technologies, Inc. to allow bar coded USSCo office product items and catalog pages to be hand scanned by clients and their orders created automatically in Quantum Net shopping carts.

E-Quantum introduced a new Level 3 credit card interface with 3Delta Systems, Inc. to provide more comprehensive itemized credit card processing for institutional, corporate and governmental entities.

E-Quantum also unveiled “Q-Design,” our 'next generation' template program for 1-2-1 marketing and more complex graphic designs.

NEW Q-POWER BUYERS GROUP FORMED
e-Quantum Power, Inc. (Q-Power), a new purchasing and affinity group for e-Quantum software users, was unveiled to conference attendees. Q-Power will function as a distributor buyers’ resource to facilitate marketing strategies, sales opportunities, product diversification and competitive pricing for e-Quantum software users.

For instance, distributors who are Q-Power members can sell USSCo (United Stationers) office products at USSCo’s highest Level 1 discount, regardless of their sales volume.

Q-Power will also work with its Select Vendor Base to provide unique opportunities for them to increase their sales to our 400+ distributor e-Quantum client base.

Q-Power’s principals are Ross Barker, president, and Todd Mellon, executive vice president. Ross is president of e-Quantum, Inc. of Reno NV and Todd is president of The Ampersand Group of Akron OH.
