Dear Colleagues, With 2009 standing on our doorstep, hand poised on the bell, e-Quantum sends our very "Best Wishes" to all our many clients and friends. Please enjoy the happiest and most prosperous of New Years! 2009 will undoubtedly be replete with excitement and challenge. But, we're chaffing at the bit to begin. Together, we can make 2009 another great year! As one of our nation's most economically challenging years draws to a close, I want to thank all of you for being the honest, hardworking, principled persons that have made my life in our industry so fulfilling. The source of many of our current economic problems, I believe, can be traced to the absence of one word, "ETHICS." Life and work are only truly fulfilling in the context of how we succeed and share with others, for the benefit of ALL - not just a selfish few. And, in that vein, I thought a Form magazine column I wrote years ago might be still be appropriate. You will find it below. I'll be attending the PSDA CEO Summit in Naples FL next week, but when I return my next column will contain an outline of e-Quantum's exciting plans for the first half of 2009, leading up to the May 5-7 International Client Conference in Reno NV. Happy New Year! Ethics: A Salesman's Shot
Sincerely,![]() Ross Barker |
